As far as Christmas magic goes, there's nothing quite as magical as Sam Heughan's tight white pants in the 2011 timeless classic, A Princess for Christmas (Christmas for Princess? who's to say?). Today we're bringing you a rerelease of our of 2018 episode about this fine film. Enjoy!

Get your holiday lights and music display kits ready because it's finally time for Hatewatch Holidays 2020! We're kicking off the festivities with A Treat for Christmas... A Christmas Treat... Christmas for Treat... Treatmas? Whatever you want to call it, the important thing here is that our Treat Dad Treat Williams is in not one but two holiday films this year. After a lengthy discussion about the user experiences of streaming services that end in Plus, we're off to the races with The Christmas House, Hallmark's first endeavor to win over the gays. Honestly, it's not as bad as we thought it would be, despite some dicey plot choices (looking at you, fixer-upper on the Hudson). It's another story altogether for Christmas on the Square, arguably the biggest disappointment of our holiday movie season. We're gonna commission an episode of Handsome Justice to investigate the claim of whether angels can fly because they take themselves lightly and also why this movie is so bad. Stay tuned for several more Hatewatch Holidays installments coming soon!

What happens when you come to recording night to discuss one film, but the universe delivers you a different mission? Is it destiny? Kind of like when you arrive to your first day of university and you bump into your future wife, who happens to have a life size poster of you on her wall? Today at Hatewatch, we are here to discuss the age-old questions, Who are they? and What is this?, as we watch not one but two(!) made for TV movies about the love story of Prince William & Kate Middleton. This episode features all of your favorites, including Kirstie and Kelsey Google A Thing, Hot or Tall, and requisite judgment towards Some Members of the Royal Family. If you know who any of these people are, please let us know via a review or tweet us at @hatewatchwithus!

Hatewatch Holidays continue this week with two new original movies from the eternally sexless Hallmark Channel. First, we're revisiting Evergreen for the THIRD time with Christmas In Evergreen 3: Tidings of Joy. Our favorite totally real Vermont town is back to their whimsical ways with a plot heavy advent calendar time capsule situation! Stay tuned for next year when we inevitably cover Christmas In Evergreen 4: Small Boy Gets Another Key and Everybody Goes To Therapy. Our second film this week is Sense, Sensibility, and Snowmen, which carries on the Hallmark tradition of disgracing Jane Austen's good name for the sake of Christmas content. Also, the podcast would like to note that the jingle bells in this episode is not in fact our own festive sound effect but rather the resident pod dog channeling the spirit of Christmas with his collar. We're not sorry.

It's our last installment of Hatewatch Hallmark before moving on to the endless bounty of off-brand Christmas movies, so we are coming in hot this week. We start with the sequel to our Outlander Store Dot Com special: A Novice's Guide to Destiny Dice and honestly we feel this should have been its own segment because it had way more to offer than either of the films we watched. We then move on to Pride, Prejudice, and Mistletoe where we had a lot of questions about our stock options next fiscal year. Before long we are visited by the Ghost of Jean Smart Past, Future, and Present, and were transported to A Shoe Addict's Christmas where Kelsey bestowed upon us the gift of her Candance impression and ERHMERHGERD did we dig up an old ass meme.
