We made it 3 episodes into Hatewatch Holiday before we had to argue about letting Hallmark Fuck (guys, these aren't even Hallmark movies????). We've got hot takes on Streaming search tools, Emma Roberts and Kristen Stewart, a snappy new name for Quarantine Quorner, and a very important new submission to the Christmas Movie Cannon (listen to find out what movie we want you to watch instead of Holidate).

droughtlander, film, hatewatch, hatewatch with us, jamie fraser, kate mackinnon, mila kunis, movies, outlander, sam heughan, the spy who dumped me, thought bubble audio, where the starlight ends
Outlander season has returned, and in that spirit, we are bringing to you a spicy hot discussion of a spicy hot man. That's right folks, we are embarking on our favorite pastime and diving into Sam Heughan's IMDB backlog this week. We watched Where the Starlight Ends, a questionable film featuring attempted American accents and also jorts. Then, as a treat, we watched The Spy Who Dumped Me, which will henceforth be referred to as Kirstie's Sam Heughan Sexual Awakening and/or The Time Kelsey Was Right. We hope you enjoy this episode as much as we enjoy the raw animal magnetism of Sam Heughan.

It's everyone's favorite problematic holiday, Chris Columbus Day! Instead of celebrating the historical figure who did the genocide across North America, we are celebrating the casual racism of children's film director Chris Columbus. This year we are discussing the film Adventures in Babysitting, and listeners, we are deeply concerned. Then, it's time for us to circle back on Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, one of the great films of 2001. We take this opportunity to explore many of the other great films of 2001 and their standing against Harry Potter. Find out how we feel about the Thumbs from Spy Kids, and if you have any information regarding the not 2001 film Ella Enchanted, please find us on Twitter @hatewatchwithus.

It's our last installment of Hatewatch Hallmark before moving on to the endless bounty of off-brand Christmas movies, so we are coming in hot this week. We start with the sequel to our Outlander Store Dot Com special: A Novice's Guide to Destiny Dice and honestly we feel this should have been its own segment because it had way more to offer than either of the films we watched. We then move on to Pride, Prejudice, and Mistletoe where we had a lot of questions about our stock options next fiscal year. Before long we are visited by the Ghost of Jean Smart Past, Future, and Present, and were transported to A Shoe Addict's Christmas where Kelsey bestowed upon us the gift of her Candance impression and ERHMERHGERD did we dig up an old ass meme. If you too would like to redo your past in answer to your calling from God by your guardian angel Jean Smart, enter us in the Sam Heughan Charity Crossfit Contest this holiday season: https://www.omaze.com/experiences/sam-heughan-date-night

Hatewatch Holiday: COLUMBUS DAY 2018
October 9th, 2018 | 1 hr 10 mins
1492 productions, 1995, chris columbus, christopher columbus, columbus day, films, harry potter, harry potter and the chamber of secrets, harry potter and the sorcerers stone, hatewatch, hatewatch holiday, hatewatch with us, hugh grant, julianne moore, movies, nine months, podcast, romcom, thought bubble, thought bubble audio
It's time for one of our favorite Hatewatch Holidays: Christopher Columbus Day! We carry on the Hatewatch tradition of spending some time with the first two Harry Potter films. This year it's Chamber of Secrets and while we have a lot of gripes about the adaptive choices Chris Columbus made, it turned out we had a lot of gripes with JK Rowling, Ginny Weasley, and the romcoms our generation was promised. Then we discuss the 1995 film Nine Months, a nice and accidental tie in from recent events from Hatewatch Nation. Chris Columbus gets back on his bullshit, Hugh Grant is a dweeb, and y'all get the birth story you never asked for. After all, the big childbirth scene is every actresses dream??? The plot really thickens when we find cause to give thanks to Chris Columbus, which brings a whole new meaning to Columbus Day.

Return from Hiatus and Netflix, What Have You Done?
October 2nd, 2018 | 57 mins 5 secs

This week we are taking you through the hole in the fabric of space-time, back 5 weeks to our first attempt at returning from hiatus. It was a simpler time when Kirstie was getting a lot less sleep and watching a lot more TV, and Kelsey was living her best RomCom life. First we discussed all the TV Kirstie watched on maternity leave, including the gringiness of 90s sitcoms, the argument for the 30 minute sitcom as a format, and Kirstie admitting she was right to lose the great Brooklyn 99 Fight of 2018. Then we have a rare opportunity to put a positive spin on everyone's favorite segment, Netflix, What Have You Done? With a pep in our step and sheer delight in our mics, we review the Netflix RomCom To All The Boys I loved Before, as well as praising the platform for their contributions to the RomCom Renaissance. For the second week in a row, we're glad to be back!

WE'RE READY!!!!! Lol get it? We're back from hiatus with content timely and not at all timely. First, Kelsey takes one for th team and reprots back on watching this year's Emmys. Honestly, we could have probably stayed on hiatus for this one. Then we're bringing you Ready Player One in all its white-male-Star-Wars-Prequels-CGI mediocrity. We have a drinking game and complaints aplenty. Did you miss us? Cuz we sure missed you more than we would have missed this movie had it never been made. We're working on new content so watch your feeds!!

There's another Star War in theaters which means its time for another Hatewatch. This time its Kelsey who DELIGHTEDLY takes one for the team by seeing SOLO: A Star Wars Story and bringing back a whole universe of feelings, thesis ideas, and attractive disasters. Listen as she makes bold proclomations about space hijinx, the RomCom, space sex, Han Solo Lite, Sam Heughan in Space, and declares yet another unpopular Star War as HER Star War. We're also sure to rehash old favorites like Kelsey Wants Everyone To Bone, some cheap digs at the Daves, shipflags and Outlander feels. Whether or not this is YOUR Star War, it will be your hatewatch.

Netflix, What Have You Done: When We First Met and Series of Unfortunate Events

The theme of this episode is Netflix, What Have You Done? But it also could have been Soda, What Have You Done? Sweet Tea, What Have You Done? IMDB Pro, What Have You Done? We BYOB two Netflix originals. Kelsey watched the Netflix Original RomCom When We First Met and her algorithms will never be the same. We learn about IMDB and all the different ways you can tag panties. Then, Kirstie reveals a shocking plot twist: Netflix, What Have You Done can have positive connotations! We discuss the Series of Unfortunate Events, Kirstie's unbridled joy over television adaptations and dark stories for children. It's a bumpy episode for Netflix, Kirstie's knowledge of actor's names, movies of the mid 2000s and our understanding of the fundamental question, Netflix, What Have You Done?
